Doctors at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia are reporting an increase in kids being admitted to the hospital due to several viruses going around.
Typically, children's hospitals expect to see more sick kids coming in in the fall and winter, but this year the uptick in activity is happening much earlier than ever before.
Dr. Julia Sammons, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at CHOP, says they're seeing more cases of COVID-19 and also other respiratory viruses including RSV - or respiratory syncytial virus. RSV is an infection that can be dangerous for young children.
So why the early, increased uptick? Even with precautions, as kids spend more time together, viruses we barely saw when everyone was home now have more opportunity to spread.
"And many of these young children have not been exposed to any viruses before, so some of them may be getting sicker for the first time they're seeing the virus," said Dr. Sammons.

So the lockdowns endangered children.
We are constantly being exposed to viruses. Keeping someone, especially a child, completely locked up and away from others is just delaying the inevitable.
Why? Because we have spent the last 18 months weakening their immune systems with masks...
Too much mask-wearing and rebreathing their exhale.
2 years ago you gave your kid with a cold or fever medicine, soup, ice cream and put them to bed. Now, a kid gets a sniffle and OMG IT’S COVID and off to the ER they go.
The lockdowns endangered children, all right.
And the eggheads knew this would happen.

Moderna has an RSV vaccine in Phase 1 clinical trial now. It can be a nasty virus.

Yeah - I remember one of the first to predict this was around May of 2020 - Doctor Ericson if I remember correctly. He was instantly banned from social media.
His video was the first video I posted on FB that was banned in a few hours. His medical mind saw this coming.
“CHOP” does not make me think of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, but of the “Capitol Hill Organized ‘Protest’” in Seattle last year.
I’d like to think I don’t need to add a sarcasm tag, but given some of the posts I’ve seen on FR over the past 18 months, it might actually be needed.

Definitely more deadly for children than cv-19. But we are protecting the elderly by putting kids in danger. A reverse of times gone by.
