On September 24, 2021, the Biden administration clarified its September 9 Executive Order (the “Mandate”), announcing that employees of federal contractors and subcontractors will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 even if the employees are not working directly on a government contract. I guess I didn't see this last week about the Dec 8 deadline. I work for a non-profit organization that gets government and private funding. We are not sure which categories we get put in.

My question is, for any government contractors here, has anyone been successful in getting a religious exemption?

Congress and the federal courts (including staff) are exempt from this iron-fisted mandate.

Accommodations are available for both the vaccine and mask mandates allowed for disabilities, including medical conditions, or a "sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance."

That provision is probably very broad.

Religious exemptions are some of the most solid principles of U.S. law.

A religious exemption will hold up under legal scrutiny better than any other basis for rejecting a mandate by an employer or government. It’s so all-encompassing under the U.S. Constitution that it has served as the basis for the Amish to be exempted from Social Security and Medicare, various religious groups to be exempted from compulsory education laws and the military draft, Indian tribes to be permitted to use substances that are categorized as narcotics under the CDC for ceremonial purposes, etc.

I've already identified one aspect of this idiocy that makes absolutely no sense at all. Just look at these two items:

"Covered contractor workplaces" where any covered worker is "likely to be present" during the course of a contract — both federal workplaces and locations controlled by the contractor itself, according to the guidance.

Any fully remote workers, as well as employees who have previously been infected with COVID-19, are included in the Mandate.

So here's what this means:

1. If you are a federal contractor and you spend 100% of your time working at a fully remote location and never interact with anyone else in your company, you are subject to this mandate.

2. But a contractor like many that I know who work in shared office locations where they mingle with other unrelated small business employees and use the same kitchens, bathrooms, meeting rooms, and other amenities, can be exposed to all kinds of infectious diseases because the places where they work are not "controlled by the contractor."

We have an aging population in the United States and indeed the World. For the greater good, to keep our species viable, governments in the United States and around the world need to make pregnancy, carrying a child full term, giving birth and caring for a child (children) until adulthood should be mandatory for all females 18-30.

I've done contract work for the Feds, they take forever to pay and don't pay very well for the amount of time and effort it takes.
