A Washington university established a housing program for black students to examine their culture separate from the influence of other races, according to the program's description on the school's website.
Western Washington University transformed the fourth floor of its Alma Clark Glass Hall into Black Affinity Housing, the website states.
"The program explores and celebrates the diversity of Black and African American people and culture , with historical and contemporary context," its description reads.

Segregation, voluntarily, at that. Rosa Parks would be appalled.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If my kids went there, they suddenly wouldn’t be. Only way to rid these idiots of this nonsense is to take away funding.
Separate but equal?
How long before it looks like da hood?
I certainly approve of culturally appropriate housing for African-American students at any college where one of MY kids would go.
Little Chicago
Diversity through segregation. Only the left could think that makes sense.
Any signs posted on drinking fountains?
It might be a good thing.
“It might be a good thing.”
I like experimentation. Someday we’ll know the results.
But try to have anything for just whites, and watch the hysteria begin.
“What’s ours is ours, and what’s yours is ours.”
Segregated housing to promote diversity. Liberals have gone so far off the deep end they can no longer recognize how stupid they’ve become.
If I were in the Washington state legislature I’d introduce a bill to require the university to have mandatory separate housing for all black students (based on the theory that the more segregation you have, the more diversity you have).
If there is transit service on campus, maybe they should prohibit anyone except Black students from sitting in the back rows of the bus.
Looking at a picture of the building, that looks like it is the top story. Isn’t that like being in the back of the bus?
Diverse in their uniformity
Do white people who identify as black get to live in one of those specialized dorms?
So are whites excluded? Who would have thought that segregation would come back.... and people would want it.
George Wallace has been proven correct, but by the other side!
“I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny . . . and I say . . . segregation today . . . segregation tomorrow . . . segregation forever.”
Sadly Martin Luther King has been proven wrong, again by the other side.
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
