The intense coverage of the Gabby Petito case has helped bring apparent closure to the family of a Texas man who went missing in Wyoming, where the Long Island native’s body was found, according to a report.
The last trace from Robert Lowery, 46, a father of two from Houston, was reportedly a ping from his cellphone in Jackson on Aug. 23.
Lowery was seen on video from Aug. 19 at a restaurant at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village. He was last spotted the following day in Bridger-Teton National Forest, where Petito’s body was found Sept. 19, CNN reported, citing the Teton County Sheriff’s Office.

I was up there in June and saw no bodies lying around. What a ripoff.
Doesn’t the Federal Reserve hold a high-level conference there every summer?

Good one.
I found this over a year ago by accident. For reasons I cant explain, I’d watch these things for quite a bit of time. Jackson Hole, come to find out, is a super expensive place to live.

Wyoming is a wild and lonely place.
Drive an SUV a few miles down a dirt road, then drag the body a hundred yards from the road, and it may never be found.

Remember visiting there in 1956 at the Goodrich Ranch on school trip (one of the kids in our school was named Goodrich) - sidewalks were boars and main street was graded gravel or macadam paved. Won $5 on nickle slot at some restaurant.
It was dirt cheap until the late 70s when the ski area started getting traction.
Before that, the little problem of being -30 for most of February deterred all but the most comitted...
Liz needs to go hunting with her dad.

LOL!................
lol...Been there many times(and other parks and forests) never seen a body either.
Yes, my daughter had a friend who was an RN there, and they had to live at least an hour outside of the city, just for affordable housing. They ended up moving to Montana, to avoid the hassles.
I think “Indiana Jones” has a place there.
From the article: In another case in the area, 27-year-old Cian McLaughlin was reported missing four days after he was seen hiking June 8 in Grand Teton National Park without a backpack.
Sidewalks were BOARDS ???? NOT BOARS.
