“We have mating inequality in this country,” the marketing professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business told CNN on Saturday.
“Two in three relationships start on Tinder, 50 men, 50 women. Forty-six women show all their attention to just four men and what do those four [men] have? They signal success with a college degree,” he said.

In 2020, US colleges enrolled 1.5 million fewer students than in 2015 and 71 per cent of those who have chosen to not study on are men. According to the Common Application, women made up 3.8 million college applications in the most recent school year, while men made up 2.8 million.
Mr Galloway noted that men also “drop out at a greater rate”.
“Over the next few years, for every one man that graduates from college, there’s going to be two women,” he said. “So this is becoming overwhelming. College is becoming the domain of women and not men.”
“The most dangerous person in the world is a broke and a lone male and we are producing too many of them,” Mr Galloway added. “The mating inequality that’s going to come out of this dearth of men in college poses an existential risk to our economy and our society.

A few things:
Feminists pushed for a lot of this. Schools are much more structured for females than for males now. ie aside from the overt anti-male, anti-masculinity biases of the overwhelmingly female teachers, there is less PE and less practical hands-on learning at which males tend to excel and more desk/book learning at which females tend to excel.
Also women have - contrary to what feminists claim - made gargantuan strides in the workplace. Consequently, a lot of them now earn more money than men.
You know who is extremely unhappy with this? Women.
Yes, that’s right. Women. Women are according to numerous polls, surveys and other data, far less happy than they were a generation or two ago. It turns out that while many women are just fine with the anti-male/anti-masculinity biases spewed in school and in the media, they of course want masculine, rich successful men for themselves. Only now there are fewer of them because………uh oh. See where this is going?
A lot of women got exactly what they wanted and they couldn’t be more miserable.
Not to mention sex with robots.
Any guy intelligent enough to be considered desirable by these women has already figured out that If it flies, floats, or f***s, it is cheaper and far better to rent than own.
The most dangerous people today are college educated fascist women. They are cultural poison. Get with the times.
The other problem is somewhat human nature. Women, now equipped with more information and choice overwhelmingly go for the top 10-15% of men. Great for those guys whether it’s because they won the genetic lottery or because they were born to rich parents. In fact in one study I saw, a large group of women and men rated each other. The men rated the women on a standard bell curve. The women however rated 80% of men as “below average”. Obviously that’s statistically impossible, but it shows the skewed thinking of women when assessing mating prospects.
The lucky guys at the top have it made. They get to screw their way through college and their 20s and often casually discard average or only slightly above average women because they can. Meanwhile most guys get very little if any female attention. The smart women figure out before 30 and realize it’s unrealistic for them to expect to land an 8 or a 9 if they themselves are only a 5. So they pick a good guy who rates about where they are but who has some sense and who sets himself up for a successful career.
The foolish/delusional/unrealistic women wait until 30 when every single last day of their youth is gone and only then out of desperation start going for guys they should have gone for 5-10 years earlier. Often guys they specifically rejected earlier! Only now those guys in their early to mid 30s who are climbing up the ladder of success don’t want those women. They’re too old and the guys know those women are just desperate and don’t truly want to be with them anyway. In other words, there is very little prospect of a happy or successful marriage. No, those guys want what those women WERE, not what they ARE. So they too go for the 20-something women.
The result is a lot of unhappily single people.

Young men go to college to be lectured on how racist and sexist they are—anyone who did that would be really stupid!
It sounds like most young men have figured it out...
Go where you are needed and appreciated and respected—and college is not that place.

Very accurate assessment
I read that suggestion and just laughed. While it’s true that younger 20-something men and older 30-something women are the two “out” groups, saying they should just hook up completely ignores what men want - hint, it isn’t older women.
Those “solid christian women” often have the same “marrying upwards” illness. But naturally, they won’t or can’t admit it.
I like how you brought it down to specifics. I’ll need to read up later on that Duke Power ruling.
The one major area that is still male is STEM. When it comes to STEM programs, women and African Americans are being begged to enter. It’s not deemed fair that there are fewer of them in the STEM field. Yet men are allowed to dwindle in overall numbers, and few academics care. Fortunately, I’m used to hypocrisy. I generally laugh at it. STEM is one of the new forms of hypocrisy to laugh at it. Aside from all that, a lot of my female friends in academia are in the STEM programs already. Another imagined crisis by the academics who are tiptoeing through the tulips.
The US Post Office has aptitude tests to be hired. Are they somehow exempt?
Making men smarter than women. They recognize that college is a scam, as well as college educated women.
Girls go to college to get more knowledge.
Boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider.
It is not just “Black Studies” that are granted to illiterates. There are dozens of “studies” degrees granted to kids who went to college for four or five years or more but were not that smart. AOC holds one of those degrees(international studies).
Many people go to college to become a vet or doctor or some other graduate degree. They then find out that you have to be really smart and work really hard to attain a degree in those fields. The curriculum weeds out a substantial percentage. It is a lot more fun to go to the bar on Wednesday night instead of studying for the test the next morning.
Others can not hack the advanced math. I personally had to drop Calculus III, even though I got an A in both Calculus I and II. However, Statics & Mechanics came natural to me.
Statistics I almost failed.
My oldest brother wanted to be a VET. He almost flunked out after his freshman year after partying too much. He switched to Business Administration. Graduated with a BA degree.
When I was at Syracuse U there were a lot of girls that got sent there by their parents for one reason: FIND A HUSBAND.
