That is around $575,000 per unit! For homeless refusing to work, panhandlers, mental hindered, etc.? Why not something more affordable, durable?

State of the art will have human feces smeared on it within
30 days of occupancy.
Might just as well take the cost of the building, and burn
the cash to keep them warm on the street.

It might not look like a housing project, but it isn’t the looks of a building that gives it that special housing project ambience.
The people who built Pruitt-Igoe and the Robert Taylor Homes had high hopes too.

You’ve got that right! I saw an interview (Project Veritas?) with a guy that ran a homeless shelter. One of the things they do for people that stay there is register them to vote using the shelter address. By the time elections come around, the people are long gone, but the mail-in ballots go- guess where?
