Former White House press secretary Stephanie Girsham in a new book sheds light on former President Trump’s mysterious visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in November 2019, suggesting that the president was undergoing a colonoscopy. She did not, however, use the term colonoscopy.
Grisham wrote that Trump in-part did not disclose the details of his visit because he did not want to transfer authority to then-Vice President Mike Pence during the procedure — like what former President George W. Bush did when he underwent a colonoscopy 2002, briefly passing powers to then-Vice President Dick Cheney. Grisham also said the president “did not want to be the butt of a joke” on take-night television, according to CNN.

Trump mysteriously went to Walter Reed to get a colonoscopy because he did not want to transfer power to Pence?? Grisham is a demented broad.

Appears that there’s more than one Grisham that’s a storyteller.

The Hill, trolling for Trump clicks. Pathetic. Stephanie Grisham, also pathetic.

Didn’t that happen when Reagan went to get polyps removed?

I was awake for my last colonoscopy, but was knocked out for my previous one. Give the advances in anesthesia there likely was no need for Trump to transfer power to Pence.

I’ve had 2. No nock-out beforehand. Awful but tolerable.

I’ve had one, no knockout. I was awake the entire time. I was impressed with just how many Deliverance jokes my doctor knew. The preparation was a lot worse than the actual procedure. Ugh.

Just had one three weeks ago (it came out good) but the drugs...wow...Versed (midazolam) is a benzodiazepine, a type of drug that causes relaxation, sleepiness, and partial or complete loss of memory during use. It's commonly used to help you better tolerate a medical procedure. It was really wild stuff.
I remember babbling on about whatever, the nurse told my wife that most folks don't "embrace" the medications like I did. It was sort of a reward for doing that nasty prep work before hand.

And I know it’s a big deal for DC and the cult of the presidency as captain at the helm. But seriously, America can’t function without a fully awake president for an hour? Everything is going to go spinning off the rails that fast?
It’s retarded and an embarrassing thing to behold.

Isn’t she out of line discussing his medical issues?

Almost sounds like a violation of President Trump’s HIPAA rights by discussing a private medical matter without his permission.

Gawd. Hated the prep.
I was knocked out.
Word to the wise....if they use propofol...have them put a little lidocaine in the port first. Felt as tho my arm was on fire.

I thought medical information was private? Wonder if she could be sued?

Versed was used on my husband. Nasty drug. Not good for him.
Tried to grab the steering wheel as I was driving home.

I’ve had two and was knocked out with Propofol each time…took 3 seconds to go out. Nurse said I was talking about how beautiful the place I was seeing was, the last time. I like to think maybe I was seeing heaven. I have no memory of it. I was praying when I went under to our Blessed Mother and Holy Father. I was a bit scared about going under.

Even if Trump was unconscious he could out-think anyone around him.
