Tucson Unified School District will keep its mask mandate in place even after a statewide mask mandate ban goes into effect next week.....
The district's lawyer is writing a letter with that request to the U.S. Departments of Education and Justice.

Looks like they plan to ask Biden's Justice Department to sue the state of Arizona, arguing those parents who think masks help have a "civil right" to REQUIRE everyone else's children to wear masks too!
It is akin to saying I have a civil right to require everyone else to go on a diet.
"The county health department did a comparison between TUSD, which has had a mask mandate from the beginning of the school year, and another local school district that has none and found the infection rate was more than twice as high in the district without a mandate, said Dr. Theresa Cullen, Pima County health director.
The infection rate was 1% in TUSD and 2.3% in the district that doesn’t enforce mask use. The county did not name the other district in the comparison."

Why not, Politicians break the law daily and nothing happens to them. Our fault that this is the mind set and occurs frequently.
Time for a group of students to disobey. Hold a sit in if the teacher tries to send them to the principal’s office. Stage a walkout. Have a before school mask burning in front of the school. If one of these happened at every school, what could the administration do.

Just watched this virologist on Joni who went into how masks simply don’t work, used the analogy of stopping mosquito’s with a chain link fence. Virus’ go right through any of those cloth/paper masks. It’s just a feel good thing.
The insanity continues.
I wear a cross. It is as effective against COVID as their masks, and (presumably) also helps against werewolves and vampires.
Do you also wear garlic from your belt? :)
PS: Wearing a Cross doesn’t protect you from any harm, what it does is show your faith. I wear a Star of David with a Cross in the center since I’m a Messianic Jew. I have to hide it though when I’m at work.
These masks are destroying these children!
Wearing a cross is just as effective as wearing a cloth mask against a virus...and a lot more comfortable.
