Former Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb warned Wednesday that “we’re in for a whopper” of a flu season due to a lack of immunity in the US population.
Gottlieb, who helmed the FDA under President Donald Trump and serves on Pfizer’s board of directors, made the chilling prediction during an interview on CNBC about workplace safety amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“We haven’t seen a flu season last year — we’re in for a whopper because we haven’t put immunity into the population in at least one and maybe now two years. When the flu does come back, and it will come back, it’s going to come back very aggressively,” he said.

At some point they have to admit that the ‘emergency’ aspect of COVID is over. That millions of COVID ‘tests’ have really just detected the flu means this is just greasing the rails for a transition from ‘COVID cases’ to ‘flu cases’.
It’s hard to reconcile packed football venues and then have kids being masked at school.
It’s over and they know it. The only emergency was really for older people with comorbidities. There was never an *emergency* for the ‘younger’ crowd.

I took a look at Australia’s 2021 flu season (which is ending now) data, and they had an even lighter flu season than their record lows in 2020. So, we’ll see about ours, but if Australia’s was weak, then maybe ours will be too.

I was warned about the anticipated early and severe flu season a few weeks ago, and got vaccinated last week.

Sorry to say but a lot of vaccinated people are going to die of the seasonal flu right on schedule. The govt always telegraph’s what’s coming. The vaccinated have chosen poorly.

I had a flu shot in 2019, 2020 and this year.

Since about 2010, excluding last year of course, the annual average number of influenza cases in the U.S. has been in the 30,000,000 (with an M) neighborhood.

Correct. The typical rising hospitalizations and 30,000 to 70,000 deaths each year from seasonal flu will almost all be tagged as covid. Or they may be double-counted as both covid and flu. Either way, the deaths and hospital case numbers will be used as further justification to impose draconian, un-Constitutional measures on the un-vaccinated. Those currently "fully vaccinated" will find themselves in the same bucket as booster shots will be required in order to regain your "fully vaccinated" social status. Who knows, while they're at it they may start trying to make flu-shots mandatory too. They're on a roll and the sheeple are stampeding towards tyranny so...
I don’t know about this. The magic Wuhanic Plague Coronavirus removed the Flu completely in the winters of 2020 and 2021. The government data says so.
I’d have to agree, given the law of averages and that we had NO flu cases last year.
