Thousands of residents in Melbourne, Australia protested against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and lockdowns over the weekend and into Monday and Tuesday. Large crowds have been captured on video demonstrating, clashing with police and even chasing away police vehicles.
Melbourne, which is in the Australian state of Victoria, has strict lockdown measures in place that require people to stay home unless shopping for essential goods and services, caregiving, authorized work by permit, exercise or limited outdoor interactions in limited groups. Melbourne is Australia’s second-most-populous city.
One Twitter user tweeted video of crowds of people chasing away several police vehicles. “This is melbourne right now. Got voted top 10 safest city in the world on Sunday. Fast forward to Tuesday.”

but then the GESTAPO COPS return..
But what’s the plan? I love seeing the people fight back, but what’s the plan? What’s the end game? If there’s no end game or plan to wrench control, this is just a bunch of citizens going against law enforcers. The problem isn’t those who are enforcing the law (at least not in toto) but with those who are making them. To evince any change, they need to get law enforcement over to their side to say “enough is enough” and use their force to make change happen.
Liberals, socialists, communists, whatever you want to call them, they know one thing: power. And a disorganized mass of people beating back riot police is a good show but doesn’t represent power. When they’re at the doors of parliament or dragging the PM’s family out of their homes, that’s when real change happens.
Their plans or ours? 😳
Their plans or ours? 😳
Their plans or ours? 😳
WTH? A triple now?
Yep, they are taking back their country.
You raise some good points.
I see Australians fighting back in the same way I saw Jews fighting back in the Polish Ghettos.
More power to them. The Jews knew and the Australians must know they are in a fight for their lives.
I hope and pray the Australians fare better. But given it’s their own fault they are facing the same fate - what can I say?
Insurrection. There will be punishment for noncompliance, resistance, and open defiance.
Government vs. the people. The government side has superior will at this point, as well as all the legal apparatus - police, prosecutors and courts are all in.
Well, this is the beginning of their revolution, we can only watch and wish them luck.
We won’t have to hear those silly modern-life-is-Monty Python comparisons anymore. Now it’s Mad Max.

I posted this once in criticism of the plan to require Aussies to respond within ten minutes proving their location. Now I post it in appreciation and hope that the Australians have finally "boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand". Maybe the cursed machine will grind to a halt.
A victory like that should encourage more fence-sitters to join the protests, as well as put more caution into police and their superiors. That’s how momentum gets built.
That’s pretty cool.
Here in the US our government will kill us.
Our nation I was little different than being behind the Iron Curtain
I still say they should strip the police naked and send them on their way. Do it every time! And each time warn them about the last time. See how many cops want it to happen to them.
Everyone of those cops should be body slammed, pepper sprayed and beat with their own ASP batons, into submission, if they’re going to continue to follow the edicts of the globalist POSs elected to that country’s government.
They should be standing shoulder to shoulder with the people. They should be walking shoulder to shoulder with the people as they show up to wherever the PM, et al are hiding and assist in removing everyone of them from office. If the politicians end up dangling from a tree....oh well.
Same thing for the French Police and military.
And soon, in the UK.
