The jacket is either too tight or the pants too baggy. Maybe both.
I went from SrA to SSgt in minimum time, and because you cannot be promoted from SrA to SSgt directly, you are promoted "Sergeant for a Day." As a fluke, the date of the promotion ceremony fell on the one day I was Sergeant.
So after asking around on whether I should show up to the ceremony with my SrA or my Sgt stripes on my uniform, I decided to be technically correct and have Sgt stripes sewn onto my Combination 1 uniform for the ceremony, and separated less than a year later.
I never did have SSgt strips sewn onto my Combination 1 jacket.
Yep, unofficially of course. Sort of an homage to "buck private" E-1 in the Army.
Does she have her pants on backwards ?
The lowest of the low.
How come that General is not wearing his Duck Dodgers uniform ?
In 1977, as a A1C I was promoted “below the zone” so I was only a Senior Airman for a month. I simply sewed on my buck sergeant stripes but kept covering up the white star with blue ink and when the month was done, washed the shirts and they became white stars again.
I am saddened that they omitted the rank of “Space Cadet.”
“They look as though they’re sponsored by Pontiac.”
If they name one of their rockets “Firebird” we can impeach for collusion.
The Starship Troopers are the dudes who fly the massive objects that roil the ocean, and can do a 90 degree turn on a dime. So far, they have been very difficult to conscript.
The Space Cadets are the democrat enlistees.
“Duck Dodgers”
I hope that term sticks to describe those terrible uniforms.
“Space Cadet.”
That term was used for students in the space school.
“Does she have her pants on backwards ?”
That’s racist. Maybe she’s a he...and he dresses “front”.
That’s where I started. :)
By putting the star trek symbol within a hexagon, are they trying to say that star trek is of the devil? LOL
#metoo...Seaman Recruit. 😎
Maybe someone involved is an Apiary...
RE: the junior enlisteds, the army used the “Specialist” rank to distinguish technical ‘specialists’ from the common grunt. Calling everyone at that grade a “Specialist” is stupid because if everyone is special, then no one is special.
And the whole Star Trek iconography is clichéd and overdone.
Other than that, great job, fellas!

The AF did that a long time ago. Looks like they are getting ready for the one world federation.
