Former President Trump and his allies are expanding their political activities across the map, asserting their presence within the Republican Party as the 2022 midterm cycle kicks into high gear.
Trump himself is issuing endorsements at a more rapid clip than earlier this year and is planning to barnstorm Georgia and Iowa in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, his allies are dropping millions of dollars to buoy his supported candidates in marquee races, and his affiliated consultants are airdropping into key races to boost backers and knock off incumbents viewed as disloyal.

Consultants allied with Trump are staffing campaigns against Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), two of his biggest intraparty critics. And outside groups like the anti-tax Club for Growth are providing air cover in various races, including releasing a blistering ad against former North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory (R), who is running against a Trump-backed candidate for an open Senate seat.

However, many in the GOP maintain that Trump remains the de facto head of the Republican Party and that centrist grumbling will fail to knock Trump off the GOP throne.
“I think you've got the residual of the old GOP, the Bush Republican Party, not appreciating that they've been displaced by Trump,” said Club for Growth President David McIntosh. “That's going to be a big shift and painful for a lot of the older Republican officeholders who have figured out how to get along and go along in Washington. And we'll see how it plays out this cycle and the next cycle.”

President Trump listened and gave us what we wanted and kept ALL campaign promises that he humanly could while THWARTED by these same dopes at every turn!

Hey if the Democrats can get rid of all their centrists then why can’t the GOP? This way there will be a clear distinction between the candidates. No more flip-flopping RINOS.
The election is not until next year and already, all I see are commercials in my state about Mark Kelly & Kyrsten Sinema...all favorable towards them. They are played repeatedly and it’s not uncommon I see these ads played at least 3 times during commercial breaks.
People are going to be so turned off and tuned out if this keeps up.

Today one year later he has but one thing to focus on: remaking the GOP into a party that doesn't suck. It might be his hardest task yet. Middle eastern fanatics are less duplicitous and more trustworthy than your typical GOP politician.

I don’t know anything about Mark Kelly but I wouldn’t be surprised of the AOC wing tried to take Sinema out with a primary. But she’s not up for re-election until 2024 unless I’m missing something. So why are they running ads on her now?

In Ratland the Rat centrists mostly got rid of themselves. They got old retired & died. They lost in primaries as the basic grassroot Rat pursued his\her personal socialist utopian fantasy or they converted to the GOP.
As ego satisfying as the fantasy of expelling RINOs (Perhaps by bell, book & candle!) from the GOP might be there is no legally enforceable way of preventing someone from running as a GOP’er. How do you beat them then? By going to party meetings from precinct up to state committee and volunteer to do the grunt work. Go to meetings & vote out old RINO leadership. Leadership thats probably only there to feather their own business nest. Rule-of-thumb: anyone in place for more then a decade then time to go ! Same for GOP elected officials anyone there for a decade plus, its time to vote out. (Support term limits ! Anything that breaks up the current RINO status quo.)
It’s all hard, often boring, time consuming work but that’s how its done. That’s how the left eliminated rational patriotic democrats from the democrat party and it became the Rat party ! Going 3rd party feels good emotionally but it plays into the enemies hands !
