It has been the project of the political left for quite some time to convince Americans that there is nothing exceptional about their country. To "fundamentally transform" a culture, you must first poison the roots of what has already been growing. So for a century, Marxists have disparaged American history as steeped in genocide, imperialism, and avarice. They have exploited the imagery of virtue and vice to convince moral people that their nation rose from immorality. This has reached its logical apex with the historically illiterate 1619 Project, supported by elite news publications and academic institutions, reimagining America's birth as bathed not in liberty, but rather enslavement.
Killing American history is not just a matter of destroying our collective identity as Americans, but also the vehicle for undermining notions of personal freedom. Barack Obama famously revealed how little he understood about the United States when he mocked the idea of "exceptionalism" altogether: "I believe in American exceptionalism," he said after becoming president, "just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism."

Bush was silent in all the 8 years of Obama because he knew he is now coming out and showing us all his true colors and who he sides with. One day georgie we will know the truth about 9-11
The Bush family, including the odious warmonger yet draft dodger son, GW, is a prime example of putting our trust in people that deserve none of it. The carefully crafted image of “eating pork rinds, talking Texan, I’m one of you” disappeared in total when they got what they wanted - election to high office they did not merit and for which they rode on President Reagan’s coattails. Thus, you have Old Man Bush blithely dismissing what he had emphasized months earlier, “Read My Lips, No New Taxes”; snarking at Reagan policies during his inaugural address; telling his speechwriters he didn’t want “any of that conservative crap” in his farewell speech as President. GW Bush never says a word of criticism of the Obamas, Clintons or the boob who currently occupies the White House; yet he is white hot with his lying slanders about a President of his own party and the party base (us). No, this is what you get when they themselves push the curtain aside: wealthy dilettantes who really don’t like you or could care less about your concerns, who will say and do anything to be accepted by their “social class”, and who disdain those who got them elected to the highest office after they are safely elected. Any conservative who thinks the Bush family is on their side is delusional -the Dems and the left can have them!
George W. Bush lied about being a conservative.
Only fired? Surely you’re not serious. He should be punished to the extreme.
I used to be a big supporter of Bush, but he disapointed me when that arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave used to smear him and he did not fight back. I really regret having voted for him not only once but twice. He’s nothing but a loser to me.
He won because he wasn’t Gore.
Alternate Bizarro history! The symbol of elitist politicians in both parties. They stand by while Marxists indoctrinate popular culture?
Mark Levin , in his well researched book, "American Marxism," is telling us: " STAND UP NOW!"
Bush and Obozo are both low IQ Ex-Presidents and Milley is self ordained Communist who thinks he can make his own rules for society.
“George W. Bush lied about being a conservative.”
So have 95% of the Republicans politicians running for office in the last 60 years. In the 1960’s the party was controlled by wealthy, northern, elite school educated liberals. Names such as Nelson Rockefeller, Prescott Bush, George Romney, John Lindsay, and Charles Percy come to mind. Even the scrappy Richard Nixon, who did not have an elitist family background and ran for office as a conservative, governed as a northern liberal Republican and was responsible for expanding federal government power as president.
In reality the GOP is still the country club elite liberal party. It favors big government solutions to problems. It looks down on the crude conservatives it appeals to for votes on Election Day. It has no core political philosophy and feels no obligation to protect individual liberty for the lower classes.
Our (former) American society has exampled its exceptional-ism by allowing obvious turds to rise to positions of responsibility. Eventually they have to be flushed. But, until they are they can be pointed at as an example to the simple that they too can achieve things.
Just don’t probe too deeply at what they achieve.
I know, but he grew government more than anyone since Johnson.
