Trump sometimes has a poor eye for the people he hires to work for him. Many of them are backstabbers and deep state types.
It was his Achilles heel as president.

Flynn got in serious trouble for merely greeting a Russian official in a receiving line. Now this gut will skate after subverting his own government.
If he secretly promised to inform a foreign government of American plans to attack it, he is giving aid and comfort to an enemy.
Trump thrives on conflict and seems entirely blind to passive-agressive behavior. As long as someone didn’t openly oppose him, Trump seemed to think they were on the level.
So he was catastrophically bad at appointments.
And he did so without notifying the Acting Secretary of Defense (who said so in a television interview)what he was up to.
Trump’s MO is to never admit something happened that makes him look weak and not in charge. It’s just a political strategy and no big deal in my book.
I would submit that the powers that be/swamp are doing everything they can to discredit and besmirch Gen Milley in anticipation of his spilling the beans on Afghanistan. Just a plausible theory.
Correct and there is something everyone seems to be overlooking in this treasonous scandal...
Does anyone remember Pelosi back at the time of the Jan. 6th protest...being worried about nuclear codes? I do. I surely do.
I have a hunch, the military was supposed to step in on Jan. 6th to stop the illegal certification of the vote. Recall we were all wondering where...where was the National Guard, why didn’t Trump call out the National Guard when things were getting out of hand? Who was in charge that day?
Recall the fencing going up? Who ordered that, we wondered. Recall the questioning of the National Guard on-site regarding ‘extremist views.’
Why are they afraid about this Saturday? Who ordered the fences put back up and guard on call?
They say it is for the protest...or is it because of this book release that exposed treason? Or is the timing coincidental?

They said yesterday that they support Milley saying that his actions were acceptable in the “context of this period and time in history.” Since Milley did what he did because het thought Trump was deranged then the Biden administration is tacitly agreeing with that assessment. So while I wouldn't be surprised if Milley resigned it won't be Biden who is publicly pushing for it.
The communications started before Miller became acting Secretary of Defense. Esper has said he was aware of the calls and approved of them.
Milley and Biden are laughing at us. “ So what? What are you going to do about it?”
I wonder if Jan. 6th President Trump, knowing full well the election had been stolen, had ordered a strategic plan to arrest the traitors.
The plan failed miserably because of Milley’s treason along with the rest of the cohort. For good or ill, the military followed orders that day to stand down. Once this event was over they then went to work making sure the NG was loyal to the new regime.
As far as I am concerned this book lays bare their crime against a free nation. Are we wounded or have we truly died as the last bastion of liberty?
This is reasonable to go along with the left’s mission to remove Trump from office “by any means necessary” and continue their narrative of how violent his mob of followers is. They loved his money more than anything but couldn’t get it.
Milley will get a pass from Pelosi/Biden. Business as usual in DC.

He wasn't saying that Milley calling China was false.
Milley has now admitted through a spokesperson that he did call China twice as the book says.
However, I don't trust Woodward to be telling the truth, he makes stuff up to further his narrative, don't they all?

Don’t eliminate the possibility that all of Trump’s bad hires/appts were intentional to promote and then expose the traitorous actions of the deep state.
If not all then most were DS or false flags.
Don’t forget that you can’t just tell them all of these crimes against humanity, rather the people must be shown how much the DS hates us, our freedoms, and the Constitution. Look at the extremes they are willing to go thru so far. Sorry to say it will get worse before it gets better.
Good question. I suppose this has probably gone on for a time. I seem to remember some president sending pallets of money, stand down orders for Libya and of course just how long have”back channels” to China been open?
Include all those DC people inciting riots and treasonous( Swalwell and Feinstein come to mind).
I’d surmise around the time China bought a lot of US debt in the Soetero years and has been covered up at least a decade....will anyone perp walked?
Hillary wasn’t arrested, nor Obama for spying, nor a 100 others that should be. Milley will probably be protected or he steps down and everyone considers that a win.
My sense of these things is that when they are forced to admit something, it's always much worse than they go public with. I wonder how many Government, Military, Political, Business, Media or Education officials have been conducting "back channel" conversations with Chinese officials. It is a few, dozens, hundreds, thousands? And how much of it is not "authorized," and what is the content of those conversations? How long has this been going on? Just how deep does this go?
