A US Army Lieutenant Colonel has resigned and given up his pension after more than 19 years of service because he refuses President Joe Biden's 'unethical, immoral and tyrannical' vaccine mandate.
Lt Col Paul Douglas Hague's resignation letter has been shared nearly 10,000 times since his wife tweeted the memo and announced the Army vet is 'walking away from all he's worked for and believed in since he was an ROTC kid'.
In the letter - which he wrote on August 23, the day after the Pentagon announced all active military were to get vaccinated immediately - Hague said he refused to 'sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgement'.
'It simply has not existed for enough time and any claim otherwise is blatantly ignorant and likely an outright lie driven by negligent political agenda.'
Aside from the vaccine mandate Hague, who is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, listed many other reasons for his resignation, including 'an ideologically Marxist takeover of the military and United States government' and a 'complete lack of confidence in the presidential administration'.

The vaccine mandate in the military will drive out the remaining persons with a conscience who understand questioning illegal orders.

Why does this story come out of England? We here at FR know the answer.
It surprises me that there are not a lot more ranking officers who are opposed to the marxist takeover of this country? Opposition to socialism/communism/marxism was their sole purpose for existence while serving in the military and now most are ok with the change? I wonder what those who gave their lives for democracy, or those who became disabled, would think about their contribution to the United States of America?
There are an awful lot of good, battle hardened ex-military people all over the US...
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that fewer and fewer intelligent, responsible Americans have any interest in that institution anymore.
He should have claimed religious exemption and let them fire him to protect his retirement.
This is painful to read. Hopefully his background gives him a civilian career.

If China were to launch a war many veterans and Americans would not answer the call to protect a Marxist United States Government that infringes on their citizens’ rights. Do not let your Children grow up to serve a corrupt government.
Let the Woke die for their corrupt government. Their government does not represent us.
