Elder absolutely was on the ballot tonight.
Hopefully this election will be a wakeup call...2022 election just around the corner.
Not so much unfortunately.
Here are some of his recent ads. There are some good points in them, but overall they are kind of lacking in my opinion. Especially the one with the kids trying to be funny.

From the day the recall qualified for the ballot I have said,
We will win the recall, but Newsom will remain Tyrant.
Yeah, my bad. Poor phrasing on my part. I should have said the main issue on the ballot. If the first one didn’t pass, the second one didn’t matter.

The young man was a bit over the top.
Loved the hispanic guy, and, Larry was obviously reading his lines, in that last one.
Needed amping up, imo.
But, hey....he put his name and reputation on the line and got in the game. He now has (even more) name recognition.
God bless Larry....he got off the sidelines and gave it a good go.

I voted for Kevin Kiley. (4 votes from my household.) I think he’ll be going places. . .but CA is a tough nut to crack for a conservative. . .
Newsom won with 165% of the vote.
Elections in California aren’t really elections. They are theatre.
