“While we still recommend vaccination for people with prior COVID-19 infection, according to this new research, there is increasing evidence that natural infection affords protection from COVID-19 reinfection and severe symptoms for a period of time,” Spectrum said in a statement, according to local media. “Current studies are not clear on how long natural immunity protects from reinfection.”
Under the hospital policy, workers will have to submit to an antibody test to prove they’re immune.
Natural immunity, meaning that a person has contracted COVID-19 and recovered, is rarely discussed in national conversations about vaccines, although some studies have shown that individuals who were previously infected have displayed significant resistance to the virus.
Researchers in Israel found that previous infection has provided better protection to individuals against the Delta variant than the Pfizer mRNA vaccine.
“This analysis demonstrated that natural immunity affords longer-lasting and stronger protection against infection, symptomatic disease, and hospitalization due to the Delta variant,” researchers from Maccabi Healthcare and Tel Aviv University said.
On Sept. 11, Biden administration COVID-19 advisor Anthony Fauci said that another, new study from Israel regarding natural immunity has triggered discussion among experts.
“I don’t have a really firm answer for you on that,” Fauci responded to a question about whether individuals who were previously infected should get the vaccine.

I’m in Missouri.....never heard of labcorp. I wonder where or how to find a lab that does testing like this. I don’t have a doctor so...
Yeah, I am in the same boat with no doctor.
You could internet search your town and antibody testing for Covid and see what pops up.
I was just doing that as a matter of fact. Just so happens there is a labcorp in one of the community hospitals about 25 miles away. I’m glad you all were discussing this because I thought I had to have a doctor. But I will have to contact one to get orders? What did you do?
I did a quick search on LabCorp and MO and pulled up multiple locations. Hopefully one near you.

Post-infection natural immunity is against the entire virus, not just the ever-changing spike protein. Of course natural immunity is better and longer lasting than these type of spike protein only gene therapy shots. There is no reason for the shots if someone already has natural immunity and all the shot could do is cause havoc, perhaps ADE or autoimmune attack. Sheesh, I want to slap someone, like Fraudci.

Yes, that's how my doctor described it to me, mentioning T-cells and B-cells that spring into action when exposed to the bug.
My doctor, on the other hand, told me that natural immunity is robust and likely will last for a lifetime.

My doctor was also my mother and father’s doctor. I’ve been with him for decades. He’s a rock-solid Conservative, my last visit to see him (annual checkup)...he started spouting the COVID vaccine company line. I was disappointed. I will say, he was not his usual boisterous ConservatIve talking points spouting self. Someone got to him.

Notice how they always are so cautious about the immunity from a natural infection but so casual about the longevity of the immunity, if any, from the vax.

Therein lies the rub.
I’ll be shooting back if it comes down to multiple/annual compulsory shots for what amounts to the common cold for 80-90% of the populace (including me).
The vaccines are helping to create more infectious variants, because the vaccines are “leaky”. People who are vaccinated with a leaky vaccine are still able to transmit the virus to other people.
