The US Constitution was written — mostly — to put limits on what the federal government was allowed to do. In some cases, the Constitution places constraints on state governments.

I wish the Constitution has also been explicit about businesses and private organizations. No censorship, No restrictions on faith, no restrictions on RKBA. I see us as mostly a fascist country today, but to a large extent, it’s not the national government oppressing us. Instead, they got everyone else to do it for them.

The founders of this country wouldn't have wasted their time and energy on a revolution only to create a government that would tell businesses and private organizations how to conduct themselves.
