Bill Maher took aim at the NFL for playing Lift Every Voice and Sing - otherwise known as the black national anthem - at Thursday's game between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Real Time with Bill Maher host warned that having two different national anthems, based on race, was a slippery slope to 'segregation' but 'under a different name,' he said.
'I think when you go down a road where you're having two different national anthems, colleges... have different graduation ceremonies for black and white, separate dorms... this is what I mean: segregation,' Maher said on his Friday show....

It seems Mr. Maher may actually be beginning to care about America somewhere deep down inside.

Every time the NAACP sings its national anthem, Lift Every Voice and Sing, it honors a black Republican, James Weldon Johnson. This inspirational song, which was also adopted in the 1940’s by millions of black Americans as the Negro National Anthem, was written in 1900 by Johnson in collaboration with his talented musician brother, John Rosamond Johnson, to commemorate President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday.
The NAACP itself was founded on President Lincoln’s 100th birthday, February 12, 1909, by white Republicans who opposed the racist practices of the Democratic Party and the lynching of blacks by Democrats.

Bill Maher, like fellow acknowledged high intellects Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz, in order to be intellectually honest, all have to say truths no matter how disinclined they are to their political positions.
Given enough lifetimes they would all be staunch conservatives.

It appears that a new anthem is spreading. It has one line; “F__k Joe Biden”.
