Yes,the German German Wehrmacht & SS said the French defense of Dunkirk (so the British could escape) was the fiercest of any army they faced on either front.
If Saddam wanted to stay in power, all he had to do was to say that he had no WMDs. But if he had said that, he risked getting overthrown by internal enemies in Iraq. Iran might think Iraq is too weak so they would open themselves up for an ivasion by the Iranians.
Actually, seems France has a better understanding than the entire O’Biden administration does!
