18 breakthrough deaths were reported last week
More than 4,000 fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts tested positive for the coronavirus last week, a daily average of more than 600 people as breakthrough infections continue to rise each week amid the delta variant.
The rate of breakthrough infections week-over-week starting five weeks ago surged 64%, then the following week went up 20%, the next week jumped by 25%, the subsequent week increased by 20%, and in the last week climbed by 23%.
Breakthrough cases in Massachusetts are making up about one-third of the state’s overall cases. People who are unvaccinated are at a higher risk for infection and a severe case.
Overall, 23,858 fully vaxxed people have tested positive for the virus, according to new data from the state Department of Public Health on Tuesday. That’s 0.53% of the more than 4.5 million fully vaxxed people in Massachusetts.
The nearly 24,000 overall cases is an increase of 4,415 breakthrough infections from last week — or a daily average of 631 fully vaccinated people testing positive.
Last Tuesday’s report showed a rise of 3,704 breakthrough cases, a daily average of 529 fully vaxxed people testing positive.
The previous week was a jump of 3,098 infections, a daily average of 443 fully vaxxed people.
The prior week was a jump of 2,672 infections, a daily average of 382 infections.
The week before that was a rise of 2,232 breakthroughs, a daily average of 319 infections.
Breakthrough hospitalizations account for about 25% of current COVID-19 hospitalizations. Those who are unvaccinated are at a much higher risk for a severe case and hospitalization.
There have been 762 hospitalizations among fully vaccinated people in Massachusetts, which is 0.02% of those who are fully vaxxed.
The 762 total patients is a one-week increase of 111 fully vaxxed patients. The previous weekly increase was 80 fully vaxxed patients.
The state has reported 162 breakthrough deaths, or 0.004% of those who are fully vaxxed. That’s a one-week increase of 18 deaths. The previous weekly increase was 13 deaths, and the week before that was seven deaths.

Your statement was true until Sept 1, 2021. The CDC removed one word in its definition of vaccine and replaced with another on that date. They removed the word “immunity” and replaced it with the word “protection”.
Now the current shots qualify as vaccines since they do offer some “protection” (which doesn’t have to be total, etc.). The CDC covered its butt because it knew the old definition doesn’t apply to the drugs being used at this time.
I heard the same thing over a year ago from a gentleman who has several epidemiologists in his family. The Docs were very concerned that vaccination coupled with fewer precautions could lead to an uptick in cases.

The issue I see is the Medical Bureaucrats who are refusing to accept therapeutics as a means to lessen the potency of the covid.

You likely do get the flu as it's highly contagious but your body readily fights it off so it's not even a break in your stride. Many of those who get a flu shot get sick as a dog because the shot itself weakens their defenses.

All the way back in May(!), the CDC reported that a super-spreader event had overrun a 74% "fully-vaccinated" Barnstable County, which is the whole of Cape Cod.
"In July 2021, following multiple large public events in a Barnstable County, Massachusetts, town, 469 COVID-19 cases were identified among Massachusetts residents who had traveled to the town during July 3–17; 346 (74%) occurred in fully vaccinated persons. Testing identified the Delta variant in 90% of specimens from 133 patients. Cycle threshold values were similar among specimens from patients who were fully vaccinated and those who were not."
Takeaway: Out of the 469 people who enjoyed Provincetown "activities" from July 3–17, 2021 and earned their COVID badge, out of the five Yogis who got the hospital trip, exactly ONE UNVACCINATED PERSON WENT TO THE HOSPITAL FOR COVID. ONE.
And that ONE person had "multiple underlying medical conditions".
And DIDN'T die.
The issue as I see it is that there are some who have bought into the Chinese “Zero Covid” delusion.
More “cases”—especially asymptomatics—are a good thing.
Means the virus is weakening and natural resistance/immunity is increasing.

True vaccines take years to develop. The faux vaccines that are out now were cobbled together in haste. They do NOTHING to prevent a person from Covid. They supposedly lessen the symptoms of the illness. My sympathies for those who passed away from Covid and that deadly “vaccine”.

Almost everyone knows that when the idiots with medical degrees overprescribed antibiotics, that the result was resistant strains that could NOT be treated.
Now that millions are vaxxed, just what would any intelligent person think would happen. YES, more virulent strains that are vax resistant. It is NOT the unvaxxed that are the problem, it is the vaxxed who are producing the deadly strains.
But the problems for the vaxxed are just beginning, the death jab seriously compromises their immune system just when more deadly strains are in circulation. The warnings about the death jab include a term called ADE. The "E" stands for ENHANCEMENT which is all you need to know to reject the death jab.

These new mRNA vaccines directly stimulate the immune system. As I understand it, they directly stimulate the immune system to produce proteins that bind to the virus and prevent it from binding to cells. Yea, go team.
The mRNA vaccines are currently 2 doses. The powers that be are talking about a 3rd. I've heard rumblings of a 4th. We've even heard that the vaccines seem to lose significant effectiveness in as little as 5 months - hinting that bi-annual boosters may be required.
Now hold up as they say. Just how much direct, artificial stimulation can our immune systems take? Does mRNA technology weaken the immune response to other illnesses? After all, if it grows accustomed to an artificial stimulus with the volume turned up to 11, will it still recognize and respond to a more subtle, natural stimulus?
How much "spike proteins" are safe to have in our bodies? We keep artificially boosting these and loading our systems up with these, what are the side effects?
I suspect the answer to these questions are simply unknown. As I understand it, the covid vaccines using mRNA technology are the first widespread use of mRNA technology. So we don't know what if any long term effects there will be, what dangers may lie ahead for the 160,000,000 people who have now signed up for phase 3 of the experimental drug trial. I suspect that 159,000,000 or more have no idea how risky this is.
This regime has crossed that Rubicon. Trump NEVER made it a mandate. Biden and his media OWN this.
Moreover, as soon as the FDA granted emergency use authorization, Pfizer, which has a history of illegal marketing practices, was one of the pharmaceutical companies that broke protocol and intentionally ditched its clinical trial group.
