Joe Biden has decided to order a vaccine mandate and compel obedience to government policy after saying for months that he’d do no such thing.
But it’s difficult to resist the siren song of authoritarianism if you’re president — all that power and no one to command. So forcing people to get poked in the arm and receive the magic elixir is about all Biden can do to exercise authority
The problem is that someone forgot to tell Old Joe that he doesn’t have the power to force private-sector businesses to comply with his mandate. This is completely understandable. If you worked in the White House, would you have the guts to tell the guy you work for, “Sorry Mr. President, but the Constitution doesn’t give you the authority to boss around people who don’t directly work for you”?
I didn’t think so.
Sadly, it’s not likely the federal courts will put the kibosh on Biden’s delusions of power either. Most federal circuit courts have pretty much given up on the notion of restraining executive power and will gladly give Biden the legal cover he needs to compel vaccinations.
The president plans to enlist several federal agencies to help him in his power play. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is expected to issue rules that would force employers with more than 100 workers to compel employees to be vaccinated. There’s also the power of the federal purse, as Biden can easily withhold federal payments and federal contracts to companies that dare defy the mandate.
The only realistic way that the federal government will be able to compel citizens to take the vaccine is by segregating American society into those who have been vaccinated and those who choose not to be vaccinated.

Biden doesn’t have to do anything. Most large employers will fall into lockstep with the regime.
Well, he won’t have to because many companies will do just that on his behalf. I know people who are frightened by the thought of getting a shot but do other things to protect themselves from illness such as vitamins and minerals.
That question came up on local conservative radio in my town this morning.
Can’t see how it can be enforced in the private sector.
I also personally know some current federal government employees that are mad as he’ll right now.
Not quite sure what this idiots handicap is but he seems to be looking for the lowest score possible.
And sadly, the vast majority of employees will comply

I work for the Cleveland Clinic, and this was their approach. I work in cardiac surgery and am prepared to walk away from a job I really like. I’m interested to see how it plays out.

Exactly right. So many of them have fallen all over themselves to go FULL WOKE, that they will easily fall in line on this mandate.
$14,000.00 fine per unvaxxed employee is how they will enforce it.
The threat is big enough to bring most companies into line.
AFGE plans to negotiate Bidet to death, and the Post Office union is exempt.
It will be Bidet who surrenders at the end of the day.

Twenty-seven active-duty U.S. Air Force pilots have resigned their commissions over the unconstitutionality of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s mandate requiring all Armed Forces members to at once receive a Covid-19 vaccination, Real Raw News has learned.
The exodus began on August 27, with 12 pilots from the 1st Fighter Wing at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, submitting to their commanding officer letters of resignation only hours after they received a 4:00 a.m. text message instructing them to submit to mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations by 10:00 a.m. that same day. It’s unknown whether the pilots collaborated ahead of resigning, but all 12 resignations were handed in within a 90-minute period.
One officer, a 29-year-old F-22 Raptor pilot, said of the situation, “We undergo routine physicals and must meet rigorous fitness standards to stay on flight duty. I think it’s safe to say all Air Force pilots are in good physical condition. We must be to endure extreme G-force stress on our body. There is no reason we should be at risk of Covid-19 or becoming sick from it. I know I’m not alone in rejecting this potentially dangerous and soundly untested shot.”
Pilots at other airbases apparently joined him in solidarity.
Devils advocate: If Biden was successful in getting remaining Americans vaccinated, we can dispell the myth that
a) voter id is racist (need ID to be vaxxed)
b) voter id is too hard for many (you got vaxxed so.....)
c) mail in ballots mailed out to everyone, which is said to overcome the inability to get ID or to Polling places is bull crap.
