I’m quite sure that there are plenty of folks, born and raised in Iowa, that are gay or bisexual. Not an issue. You like the same sex or both, not my business or anyone else’s, until you make it mine or their business.
Colleges/universities all over the place are overrun, FUBAR in my opinion, with radical Leftist professors and administrators knowing that once tenure is established it’s game on and they can do/say what they want.
Iowa & Iowa St are no different even though both schools are in the heartland of what some could call, Conservative America, and most of the kids come from that very same Conservative Heartland.
That being said, like so many other states, in their push to attract the “tech industry” because as we all know, the “tech industry” is the ONLY industry a state or city can have that will bring in money and tax revenue. For without the computer folks, all is lost.
