A teacher of 7th grade students has NO BUSINESS sharing personal info such as the fact that he is bisexual with them.
He should be fired.
Not due to he IS bisexual, but due to he felt compelled to discuss it with the children.

Exactly! A teacher’s sex life is not the children’s concern.

Discussing it with the children is the whole point.

He's conceivably hitting on both sexes in his class and thus the entire school with this little gambit. Sick.

Should a straight teacher be placed on leave if he discusses his wife in the classroom? A simple yes or no answer will suffice.

Agree. It’s the same kind of personal information as if he walked into the class and announced his penis size.
