Maybe not. It is college move-in weekend in Boston. Once classes start, give it a month to see if the media screeching about Delta.
Maybe we should take the four boosters at once! That should do it!
Where is “here”? Around here (mid-south USA), no referral is needed at any site I know of, and testing sites will ask for an insurance card but not require it. The DO require contact information, however, and to state in writing why you feel you need to be tested. (sensible)
OTOH, when my Mom was in a nursing home, and in one of the local hospitals, a “quick test” was required to visit her. Clinics (like Mom’s GI doc) required a temperature test, but no swab, no vaccination card, etc. Granted, that last was early summer / prior to Delta rising quickly in this area.
You are likely correct. Several of the large liberal states are mitigating hard, but in doing so are “only” holding Delta down to a steady rise in cases. Once more favorable conditions arrive, it may be Katy bar the door.
Of note, on Saturday I was pretty busy, but caught a few moments of various college football games on TV. Stadiums were packed and crowd behavior seemed to be back to college-kids-normal. This will be... interesting.
Have you all noticed that no dimrat politician has come down with the Wu Flu? Especially those in the geriatric US Senate?
