The Swine Flu vaccine of 1976 came out during my college years, and I remember the "Ford administration lied" crap coming out of the mouths of some of the profs. If the same pack of jackoffs is even alive, they're defending Biden.
1-508th (Abn) Infantry Battation, 82d Abn Div, went thru this too. There were 7 ambulances standing by as our battation received the Swine Flu Shots under the guise of a normal flu shot. Years later 60 Minutes had a film segment and I saw me and my buddies standing in line. I know of one person who dropped on the spot when given the vac.
I was in my upper teens during the Swine Flu.
No businesses were shut down.
No (anti)”social distancing” markings on the floors.
Nobody masked up unless they really, really wanted to.
That’s why I never once bought into the fearporn about COVID.

I don’t know a bout this, but I do remember that more people died while standing in line waiting to get the shot than ever came down with swine flu.
I remember reading of ONE man who came down with swine flu. but there may have been a few others.
