Typing this while being on a generator waiting for power to be turned on....it has been an event just going out to get food and fuel but getting better....This was a brutal wind storm and I am on the outskirts in Slidell La. Lots of people where wiped OUT literally....not in the mood for a storm of any size to be honest!

That projection was from a few days ago. That same disturbance on the National hurricane website has been projected to moved toward Louisiana/Mississippi.

I like the wind directions and wind speeds.
Gives you a good idea what is coming in your area.
Also, if you click on the tropical depressions and hurricanes a popup appears with more info on it. I still haven’t explored all the features of the site.
