(WWSB/Gray News) – More than 100 people waited in line Monday to be seen by a chiropractor signing medical exemption forms so kids can opt out of wearing a mask in school.

“The people that I will sign exemptions for are the people that qualify for conditions within my scope of practice,” Dr. Dan Busch, a chiropractor with Twin Palms, told WWSB.

Having a medical exemption form signed is the only way students can opt out of wearing a mask under the current mandate in the Sarasota County School District.

This has been the source of much sturm und drang here in my area for a few months now. The school board here made a big show of openly defying DeSantis' new law prohibiting such mandates, and there are plenty of brainwashed sheep here, both native and imported, to be backing their illegal action every inch of the way.

From what I heard, this doc did this first for the business, then ended up doing hundreds for free, a bit of defiance itself, which is good.

But the school board quickly issued another diktat that this Doctor's writs were not being accepted. It's great to be king.

How many people did he send on their way? Just curious.

My daughter got a waiver for my 11 YO grandson. He was about the only mask free kid at his school.
