Americans unvaccinated against COVID-19 and eyeing travel plans this Labor Day weekend should reconsider, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said during a White House briefing Tuesday.
Overall, the health agency advises delaying travel until becoming fully vaccinated, defined as two weeks post-second dose, or two weeks following the single-shot developed by Johnson & Johnson.
“First and foremost, if you are unvaccinated, we would recommend not traveling,” Walensky said during the virtual briefing.
“…People who are fully vaccinated and who are wearing masks can travel although given where we are with disease transmission right now, we would say that people need to take these risks into their own consideration as they think about traveling,” she said.

The cdc knows damn well there is a huge scientific variety among unvaccinated. They should be tarred and feathered for not saying
If you never had Covid and didn’t take a vaccine, be cautious about travel. If your bmi puts you in the obesity range, or if your blood level of vitamin d is less than 50, be cautious about travel.
Now THAT would be a legit warning backed by science. Having recovered from Covid is actually greater protection than vaccination.
The most widely used “vaccination”, the Pfizer is now less than 40% effective at preventing the “Delta Variant”. The statistical data that shows that it helps prevent serious symptoms is highly skewed and suspect as well.
We need a FOIA of who in CDC is unvaccinated.
Australia is the model. Total lockdown.
I give it about another 3 to 4 months and they are going to try and impose it here.
Possibly smarter to pay attention to them, then do the opposite.
