While President Biden made a strong defense of his decision to leave Afghanistan and the execution of that withdrawal, declaring that he had brought America’s longest war to an overdue end, Republicans smell blood and some are already calling for his impeachment—a political threat that could quickly become a practical one should the party retake the House next year.
Biden has wanted to pull out of Afghanistan since at least 2009, when he stood alone in opposition to President Obama surging troops into the conflict. But now that 13 Americans service members have died executing his withdrawal and his poll numbers have plummeted, Republicans are suggesting that this is a political hit at home he may not recover from.

2022 is more than a year away, and 2024 seems like a million years away. Anything can happen between now and those dates, but I fully expect the media to once again go all-in for the Dim candidate. They’ll spin everything — Afghanistan, southern border chaos, inflation, defunding the police, rising crime, loss of energy independence — in the rosiest terms possible. Our side will need to do a good job getting the truth out.

However, substitute "the Democrats" for "Biden" and it might be correct. Because the real war isn't over.
Biden tried to align the feeling of moving out with the perception of strength. To ignore Americans in Afghanistan gave him the perception of strength, strength of the kind that says, “Shut up. I’m right.” America might fall for that, but that just leads to tyranny.

What horsesht she writes. They keep hammering the point that ‘joe’ wanted to get out. We all did. Trump’s plan would have work, but ‘Souless Joe’ carved out the key points of Trump’s plan to evacuate civilians first, keep Bagram Airbase strong, and let the Military be the last ones out, and hold the Taliban to its agreements or face ‘military’ consequences. The Democrats are trying to make this into the story ‘we got out’ and that is what we all wanted (but not at all costs), and we will see a rise in Islamic Terror that we have not seen in 10 years. The Democrats control the press, so they think they can re-write the stories.
