Ninety retired military generals and admirals are demanding Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley resign
Calls for resignation 'based on negligence in performing their duties primarily involving events surrounding the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan'
Also said if Milley and Austin advised against withdrawal, they should have resigned if Biden didn't take their direction in protest of his leadership
Letter's signatories include Admiral John Poindexter, who served as President Ronald Reagan's national security adviser
House Rep. Ronny Jackson, the former top White House physician to Presidents Obama and Trump, is also a signatory to the letter
Jackson has previously called into question Biden's cognitive fitness for the job and demanded that he take a test similar to the one given to Trump
Comes after a Marine Lieutenant Colonel resigned after speaking out against his leadership for not pushing back against Biden's decisions in Afghanistan
The Pentagon announced Monday the last U.S. troops left Kabul

i predict that these flag officers will be recalled to duty so they can be court martialed.

The disturbing thing is that there are about 200 retired flag officers in this organization. Why didn’t they all sign the letter?

I don’t think everyone understands how the “retired flag officer game” works.
There are two kinds of retired Generals. Those who return home to their communities and gripe like the rest of us about the state of affairs
AND
Those who remain part of the swamp machine for the $$$$. Retired flag officers who toe the party line in DC are rewarded with very easy board positions or think-tank work that is very lucrative. They make a lot of money participating in the group think of DC.
We saw this in the election both in 2016 and throughout the Trump era where retired flag officers repeatedly criticized Trump or parroted media talking points despite the obvious fact that Trump was very pro-military and DID NOT get us involved in new conflicts.
Follow the money. The officers on this list are speaking from the heart with their honor intact. The DC retired class speaks to their own benefit because to tell the truth would result in them being cancelled.

We don’t have anything BUT Obama generals, whoever replaces them is more of the same.
A lot are probably employees in the DC area.

Remember when Trump was President, this sort of thing would lead the nightly news. Now, I’m betting it doesn’t get mentioned.
There are some good men in that list. I remember when James Dozier was kidnapped by the Red Brigade.

These calls for resignation are all well and good. But these so-called leaders are not going to step down voluntarily.
