Amid the blood-spattered horrors of Kabul, perhaps the most startling response has been an outpouring of warlike passion from disaffected young Western men. But they’re not backing Western soldiers. They’re cheering on the Taliban.
Far-Right groups are gloating. One user on an online message board called the toppled Western-backed Afghan government ‘globohomo-clownworld’. He characterised this as powered by ‘liberalism, consumerism, secularism, usury, democracy, global capitalism… and most of all, feminism/women’s rights/women’s liberation’.
Such men consider abhorrent this value system that an America-led coalition spent trillions of dollars trying to instil, via two decades of Afghan ‘nation-building’.
These alienated men hate all of it – the whole woke world view, from racial tolerance to LGBT rights to feminism. And they’re lionising the Taliban as heroic anti-woke freedom fighters.

A lot of us are dismayed at the humiliation. I do not feel particularly sad. I am only sad for the soldiers who were killed and maimed at the behest of our Ivrgarchy. Nope I will not feel bad for our decadent Western culture being humiliated by goat herders. I am not sad when the message is pounded by our Ivygarchy the West is rotten to the core. I am just sitting on the porch enjoying the glories of Western Civilization watching the remnant burn.
These terrorist’s are not “freedom fighters”. They have more in common with leftists, who will destroy you if you stray from their warped ideology.

Sounds pretty accurate. We tried to implement the Frankfurt School at gunpoint. It wasn’t why we went there, but that’s what it became, probably starting around January of 2009.

I don’t feel a need to defend a Western culture which automatically defines me as a racist and unnecessary. Let this new woke culture defend itself, spend not one drop of this old blood to rise for something that wishes me gone.
I worry about people who write nonsense. Gloating? No one is gloating. Embarrassed? Yes that our highest military leaders screwed up so badly. Ashamed? Yes that out Chief of Staff seems to be an idiot. Outraged? Yes because our socalled best intelligence in the world never saw this rapid collapse coming. Perplexed? Absolutely, that we are now relying on the Taliban for intel on who to bomb in retaliation for our losses. How did we as a nation fall so quickly? I look towards Washington DC and now count the hours before the Federal Government falls due to the worst leadership in the history of our nation and I wonder will we ever recover?

How many Western women are going to melt at the sight of those macho bearded men and willingly offer themselves to them? The savages won’t even need to bother to rape them - they’ll get it without effort.

This is a narrative I've seen pushed. I have yet to see any meaningfully large segment of normal Americans "gloating." Here on FR, I see anger, sorrow, and resolve...but no cheering for the Taliban.
Do I believe the more knuckle-dragging parts of society cheer on the Taliban? Sure. Do I believe there are as many Antifa losers in the happy camp as there are Stormfront losers? Of course...they each share a love of control and authority and probably secretly wish their overlords were as "committed" as the Taliban, just like the people who slobber all over Putin.
Do I believe this "gloating" narrative is an attempt to smear classical liberals and anti-lockdown and pro-Trump people? Absofrickinlutely.
It’s not a binary proposition. I have nothing in common with either the Western woke idiots who presided over the Afghan goat rodeo or the gloating incel bashers. Both groups are losers.

The author is focusing on repressed, indoctrinated young men who are identifying with the purposeful masculinity of the Taliban. However many young women are identifying with these brutal, domineering thugs as well. The same psychopathology that resulted in woman idolizing and even offering to copulate with the brutal thug Andrew cuomo is happening with the Taliban. These women view these young bearded men flaunting thei long rifles and dominance. Young ,privlidged , most white liberal women are attracted to Cuomo and the Taliban.
