Because according to the medical profession there is nothing else that could be wrong with you. And if your test comes back negative you are obviously not actually sick.

Hence the rapid decline beginning Jan 2021 — natural immunity before the sluggish vax rollout.
There was a SARS uptick that coincided with the vaxes, but that could be related to increased population interaction due to “confidence” in being vaxed. Thereafter, SARS declined again.
As far as I’m concerned, there’s no macro statistical data showing vax success. That’s not to dispute the clinical results, but it’s my impression that vax effectiveness benefited from the existing natural immunity.

One third burned through, nine months ago. More since then.
I believe it hit Mrs. T 115, daughter and myself at the beginning of March 2020. We were coughing like crazy, slight fever, missed days of work.
There were no tests for Covid-19 at the time, at least not locally, so we went to our respective doctors and received treatment. I was given antibiotics and an inhaler. I already had COPD so it was a little harder on me, but we got over it completely. NO hospitalization.
And now at least a third of Americans now have natural immunity from covid.
Same here and my cough lasted at least 6 weeks if not longer.

Yeah, that sounds exactly like a wild guess.
And it would be a guess - since there’s absolutely no way to know unless..
1) they had done massive random testing periodically - which they did not.
2) they had accurate tests - which they did not.
Instead, they tested people selectively - people who had symptoms - people who wished to be tested - people who were thought to have been exposed - people who were required to be tested for various reasons. Without purely random testing, there is no way to know who had it and his many - even if the tests were completely accurate.
But the tests were far from accurate. Many, many people tested both negative and positive on the same day.
The entire testing methodology is suspect and fraught with bias, as patronizing government bureaucrats believed that erring on the side of caution necessitated a minimum level of public anxiety.
Meanwhile, Big Pharma had a strong interest in steering public opinion away from natural herd immunity or any other laissez-faire approach that they couldn’t charge money for.
My next request to my doc will be for a antibody test. I was sick with flu like symptoms Over December 2019 thru Jan 2020. GF was as well. Our Pastor and his wife were sick for about a month prior to that. They housed Chinese students up until they all evacuated in January 2020. I also had some symptoms of tiredness thru the spring last year. Also symptoms of cracked toenails. So before i get a gene therapy i’ll be checked for antibodies. Then get my ivermenctin tabs as i don’t think i can eat the apple flavored horse paste i have in stock.
Feb 2020 I woke up with a burning ball in my chest. I had never felt anything like it. I had a fever for 8 days, then stopped taking my temp. It hurt to breathe.
I forced myself to go outside and breathe fresh air. Hold the fresh air for the count of 10. My lugs burned like hell. My lips were blue.
I kept forcing myself to breathe. My rt lung is still f’d.
I HAD THE COVID I DONT NEED A VACCINATION.
I am convinced I had Covid in early November 2019. I remember thinking this is not the flu, but it doesn’t seem to be a cold either. I coughed for five or six weeks after. My wife never got sick.
I don’t get the 0.8 death rate when mortality was 1.8% overall ? and right now is 1.7%. Is that a typo?
Delta didn’t get less deadly. By Jan of this year all nursing home residents and a good portion of elderly were vaccinated, and that would drop the death rate like a rock. As it stands now, over 91% of all seniors are vaccinated. So most deaths this year should be in the ‘younger’ age groups plus the unvaccinated or frail immune system elders.
70% of deaths in 2020 were over 60 and 20% in 45-60s
?? of deaths over 60 in 2021?
