A loud and raucous dust-up between PA Senate President Jake Corman and 33rd District Sen. Doug Mastriano broke out over the proposed PA Senate forensic audit of the Nov. 3rd Presidential results from three PA counties.

The fight over an election audit in PA has devolved into a shouting match between the Harrisburg establishment and a glory-seeking state senator. PA voters are the losers.

I am not a Penn resident so my only “dog” in this fight is from the national elections viewpoint.

Having said that, I believe that Sen. Mastriano’s committee should be allowed to issue their subpoenas. Following the logic of sunshine laws, an free and fair election would not be threatened by an audit of the election.

Mastriano was the jackass who called for the suspension of health privacy laws back in March 2020 so the government could publish the names and addresses of people who had tested positive for COVID.
