social security didn’t start as a ponzi scheme. People paid into it for 40 years and the govt retained the interest year after year as each person’s fund grew. Then take away about 20% maybe 30% of workers who don’t make it to 65 and that’s all money sitting there never to be paid out, collecting interest all the while.
When they added the never employed or worked less than 10 years or foreign nationals to social security it screwed everything up. They were people who never paid into the fund. So if 20% of workers never lived to 65, by the time that percent was exceeded/replaced with never-paid-ers, it ran red and stayed there.

"Slavery" is misdirection. The war had nothing to do with slavery in any shape form or fashion. The war was about money. Claims that the South left because of threats to slavery are just propaganda. How do we know this? Because the Northern states' representatives and senators voted to pass the Corwin amendment to guarantee permanent slavery in the United States. When the supposed enemy of slavery offers you permanent slavery, the dispute is not about slavery, it's about something else.
That something else is money. The Southern states leaving was going to cost the Northeastern power barons a lot of money and it was going to seriously damage their wealth and their industries.

Surely you see that a CCP style social credit system could tame Americans very quickly. Don't score high enough in support of Barrack's plans and you will find your bank accounts locked and your job terminated. Some may have to loose their houses and vehicles to see the light, but they will when the system makes them homeless.
