I am taking Zinc/C, D in the milk (also hanging out on deck) and benadryl. Also doing hot/cold shower to elevate my immune system.
I was worried about my Golden becoming a carrier. He is on Heartgard so I should have not worry about that now. He gets his next treatment Sept 1.
As for me I tested negative with one of those rapid test, but I have a sinus drain. Not sure if I trust those rapid tests. Other than that I am doing fine.
Note: will not take heartgard. I do have a doctor’s number that will give me a prescription.
Question about the canine ivermectin. Why do vets require a blood test before giving a dog heart guard? and why is it given only during mosquito season?
I was told that if the dog has heartworms, the heartguard will damage the dog’s heart or kill the dog. Is this true?
If ivermectin prevents heart worm, why doesn’t it kill it?
