New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell says there's not enough time to evacuate the city before Hurricane Ida
No kidding.
‘No driving west to Houston on River Road’.
Why not? Is that a major route?
Walking 60 miles in a day for four days in a row?
Are you serious?
When the world is devoid of leftists. They don’t think for themselves.
In New Orleans it could be total no show jobs

Kinda like that “PHANTOM” Police Force Katrina uncovered.
“Latoya? Got to be a Dem. She’s as “stuck on stupid” as the mayor during Katrina.”
That would be “Chocolate City’s” Ray Nagin.
Make sure you have plenty of gas.
That’s an average pace of a fast walking pace for 12 hours. A hurricane’s coming, hoof it!
Hey, the last time they didn’t evacuate, they got free LVs and lap dances. They’re not going anywhere until that little lagniappe is repeated.
We’re just passing through. Headed back to Colorado after contracting for a house in Florida.
So, all those Houses that were built after Katrina using Billions in Taxpayer Money in areas below Sea Level will be wiped out.
Common Sense takes another holiday.
Yep, it is still down by Cuba

.
I remember doing the March for Hunger back in the 70’s when I was a teen and in very good condition.
It was a 20 mile hike and by the end of that, I was shot.
And that was in Buffalo, not known for it’s hot climate.
Twelve hours of 5 mph walking might be doable if you trained for it, but outside of that, it’s completely unrealistic.
People are going to need to stop and eat, take bathroom breaks, take care of sore feet, get enough water, etc.
If you find someone who can walk 240 miles in four days, let me know.
Thanks for the link.
LOL, that’s the spirit. :)
Are you in the New Orleans area or some other part of the state?
Electricity, water, natural gas, food supplies, etc will be a main concern
for a few days until they get organized. People will be standing by
but
it takes time to get it all there.
You’re moving to FL?
Good news.
Be safe, on your way back to CO.
Yes, we are! Been working on this awhile. We thought Melbourne, but it turned out Panama City.
That’s right. Good old Ray Nagin.
Thanks for the reminder! :)
Have a great weekend, FRiend. :)
