New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell says there's not enough time to evacuate the city before Hurricane Ida
forecast to be 140 MPH CAT 4 with landfall west of the city
With gusts over Cat 5.......?
With gusts over Cat 5......
“Well there goes the Chocolate City part II. I’ll give props to the current Mayor, he covered his ass in advance of his incompetence”
My bad, her and her, LaToya is in charge. Buuuuwaaahahaha. Good luck N.O.
Song: The Battle of New Orleans 2005 edition.
Wonder if they are as diligent about the residential care patients down there as they are the perps...
NW eyewall back over water now into the Gulf
looks really good on radar
with the quick speed it only spent a few hours over land
That’s about right...lol.
And she’s probably thinking, “Dang! There isn’t a Republican in the White House I can blame this on!”
Just before Katrina if residence could have made 50 to 100 miles north they probably would have been safe.
Reminds me of the chocolate city Mayor, Nagen. Political clowns all.
Yes..but it could be a CAT 5 without the gusts also
Yep. Been there too many times. Why my residence
now is more North. God bless everyone in the path.
I agree, I hope he is doing well. We really need people like this they are few and far to find.
“That’s the answer you get when you vote for a mayor named LaToya.”
True, but the voters who put her in have names that make hers look like she came over on the Mayflower.
“WOW, never heard that.”
Jabbar Gibson, 20, was the driver. He was told by someone to take a bus and head out of town.
Yes, and he’s good at it!
50 to 100 miles north?
Like Baton Rouge or Lafayette just up the road?
Things ones learns from working in the state.
Baton Rouge is nothing like New Orleans, and Lafayette is Cajun not chocolate. It’s a whole ‘nother country.
How many school buses, city buses, medical transport vans etc. does NOLA have? You could probably move 2-3,000 per hour if you had a plan in place.
Biden should put kamala charge
