Federal judges in Washington are questioning whether rioters who have admitted to storming the Capitol on Jan. 6 in support of President Donald Trump are being treated too leniently.
Judges are asking prosecutors why defendants aren’t paying more to cover the cost of damage to the Capitol, why the court can’t order additional supervision of many defendants beyond a brief prison term and why more do not face heftier charges.
Judges have also pressured defendants to explain why they were in the building that day and express contrition, even if their plea agreements do not require such admissions.
The friction comes from the minor role each individual played in the day’s overall horror.

Judges are just people too stupid to make a living out of being lawyer so they bribed a politician (usually another lawyer) to get an easy life time appointment. Its really too bad that we ,as a country, are totally under their idiotic and irrational control.

Someone please write up a list of the other times the capital has been bombed or “invaded”. I remember the time it was bombed by the Weather Underground and even though they knew who was involved NO ONE was so much as arrested. I know there were other times too. Anyone have a write up of them?

Same judges no doubt have no problem with an FBI agent forging documents and lying to the FISA court. They’ll welcome that dirt bag into their courts now.

they want to do the pre-trial punishments as much as they can because they know the eventual sentences will not be so harsh. What jury is going to throw the book at someone just for being in a building not doing much of anything?

Every one of these judges needs to. be impeached.
It’s a cute document. We keep it under glass and allow people to visit it. But that may change.
this is an indictment of WaPo and the writer, Rachel Weiner, as much as it is of the cherry-picked “Federal judges”.

If that is someone’s idea of horror, they’ve had a blessed life. And they are blaming them for police suicides? I say they killed themselves afterwards because of Ashli Babbitt’s murder. And actually, I doubt that’s true either. They act like these cops committed ritual seppuku out of guilt that the Capitol was breached.
In the real world they didn’t like long forced overtime shifts after the 6th, had divorces after the year of blm and lockdowns, used drugs or alcohol, etc. I seriously doubt it was guilt over a tres incident in the holy capital building.
