SCOOP: U.S. officials gave the Taliban a list of names of U.S. citizens, green card holders & Afghan allies to grant entry into the outer perimeter of the city’s airport, prompting outrage behind the scenes from lawmakers and military officials.
“Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list,” said one defense official, who like others spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic. “It’s just appalling and shocking and makes you feel unclean.”
Biden officials defended the move during a classified briefing on Capitol Hill earlier this week, which turned contentious. Biden team contended this was the best way to keep Americans & Afghans safe & prevent a shooting war between Taliban fighters and US troops

I for one, am very worried that this list will provide names for the Taliban’s September 11th entertainment.

Per President Trump in his interview with Sean Hannity last week said there are between 10k to 42k Americans left in Afghanistan. However, no one knows the exact number.

Sadly, I think you’re right. My sister, a liberal Dem, called me on January 6 and said, “Turn on the news! Something big is happening!” No calls from her today.
I wonder what’s going to happen to that “thorough investigation” of January 6 now that this calamity has happened and will continue to happen.
I don’t think Americans, most of them, at least, won’t consider “getting to the bottom” of January 6 is as much a priority of actually getting to the bottom of this true disaster. With at last count, 12 Americans killed and more will likely succumb to their injuries.
