Mary Trump, former President Trump's niece, said Thursday that she doesn’t see her cousins connecting with the GOP should they decide to run for office.
In an interview on CNN’s “New Day,” Mary Trump said former White House adviser Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr. don't have the kind of charisma as her uncle.
“I don't see anybody else at the top of the Republican Party who has the same kind of sway with other, with their voters, and it's certainly not, certainly not my cousins,” Mary Trump said.

i am not a fan of certain members of my family, to the degree that i don’t associate or talk to them.

I do not like Mary Trump, based on her public behavior, but on this point, she’s somewhat correct.
I don’t expect there to EVER be another Donald Trump in my lifetime, not as we experienced in the last few years.
Part of his power came from a world not really knowing what to expect from him.
That said, Trump’s oldest three children have their own talents, gifts and perspectives. They are potential Dwarf Stars compared to their Dad’s Super Nova.
It is certainly possible, even likely that one of the trio;
Don Jr. Ivanka, or Eric, could be elected to local office.
I can easily see any of them being elected to the Congress or the Senate. Start small and local. Get experience first. They should not be too proud to start in a modest way; i.e Mayor or Assemblyman. Tho I can’t see Don Jr. having the patience to start as Mayor. At least that’s how it looks now.
I wouldn’t waste a millisecond thinking about this whacked-out moron. Just because her last name is Trump, she is no “expert” on the Donald. At best, she is a family black sheep they’d rather sweep under the carpet.
I would vote for any of them, except her, if I had the opportunity.
I think you are correct for a lot of reasons. For one, Trump was a huge media star when he ran. In that respect he was a little like Reagan, whose movies and TV shows still played on television when he became governor of CA and later POTUS. For another, Trump was too much of an outsider for the Deep State to ever fall asleep at the switch and let him in again. They used a COVID-induced fraud program to keep him from victory and nothing will stop them from keeping him out of office by any means necessary.
You are correct as to the rest of his family. They may be clear thinkers who would be great in office; but Donald Trump was so well-known his name was a figure of speech for "shrewd wealthy American Businessman".
The only one of Trump’s children that is a natural born citizen is Tiffany.
I don’t see Mary Trump having any pull or say over Jack Sh!t outside of liberal rags and talking heads.
