Trump would have all the CEOs in the WH figuring out the supply chain issues. Damn the Democrats!
Secession is the best option.
No, just attention span.
This is the downfall of what Democrats called back in the 1990’s the American Service Economy. I remember it was Pelosi who said that term way back those many decades ago as our manufacturing was driven from out shores by the taxation being heaped upon it. America will become the world’s service economy.
But what these democrats failed to understand is a service economy is unsustainable as an economic model for a nation. A service economy lowers the living standards as a whole. As this finally begins to collapse, my hope rests on the small entrepreneurs and gig workers who have been percolating just below the surface. You know the ones that survived the recessions of Bush, the crash of 0bama and the shutdown of 2020. Many of whom will not want to be beholden to the government, even after a year and half of handouts barely keeping them above water.
I know a lot of these folks. They survived and in some cases even thrived and reveled in having the time to polish and hone their business skills and plans for 18 months. Spending the last two business quarters testing their ideas and experiencing massive growth in their niche.
When the collapse comes, as it must, it will be these hard working Americans who save us. It won’t be the political class. It won’t be the woke. There is a conservative millennial group positioning themselves to harness the fall. And it is my belief they will be successful as they understand this new style, American style marxism being foisted upon an unsuspecting underclass, being tossed upon the service economy of America.
Will they be able thwart history like our founders tossed off British colonialism? Only time will fully tell.
Yea...so what? It is going to collapse. Not sure what your point is?
The point is that JIT works when there is no turmoil to interrupt the supply lines.
It’s like a relay race in the Olympics.
It only takes one of the team to stumble.
“For want of a nail...”

Fixed it.
There is never a labor shortage but only a wage shortage.
But I am not talking about supply lines that entrepreneurs rely on.
Watch, there are quite a few quietly working away at an America First agenda. Like all politics is local...so can the supply chain be local or regional.
The companies that are still not trying to work locally are indeed going to fail in the next few years.
