The only reason I can think of to give a child a blood thinner is if they are undergoing chemo therapy, and could be prone to blood clots. My youngest son, now 50, went through six months of chemo after surgery for cancerous polyps. He developed a clot in his lung that was directly linked to the chemo. He had to give himself injections of a blood thinner the rest of the time he was getting chemo treatments.

Come on guys, Iām sure plenty children have a condition or surgery or cancer where they may need thinners.
