SHANGHAI — China will incorporate "Xi Jinping Thought" into its national curriculum to help "establish Marxist belief" in the country's youth, the education ministry said in new guidelines published on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Education said Chinese President Xi Jinping's "thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era" would be taught from primary school level all the way to university.
Students in China have long had to learn the thoughts of the country’s ruling Communist Party leaders, starting with Mao Zedong.
The move is aimed at strengthening "resolve to listen to and follow the Party" and new teaching materials must "cultivate patriotic feelings", the guidelines said.
The country is now deep in global competition and students need to learn to "put national interest above all else," the ministry said.
Since coming to power in 2012, the Chinese President has sought to strengthen the Communist Party's role in all areas of society, including its businesses, schools and cultural institutions.

I really can’t imagine the colossal ego behind this.
I could imagine having the Tao Te Ching, or Analects taught in a Chicom classroom or maybe even The Thoughts of Chairman Mao, but demanding my own book?
Since Communism is already well established , gateway Marxism like Critical Race Theory will not be taught. The Han Chinese already know they are the master race.

Well, it’s probably less self destructive than critical race theory.
There are “Xi Thought” programs that are already required viewing of Government employees and bureaucrats.
There is a app/program that requires the viewer actively participate by clicking on pages to move forward to the end. who has finished the program can then be viewed by the political leaders of their work-unit.

yes, but the opposite would require the basic notion that citizens can be independent and self-governing, yet still moral and social, all on their own, without the guidance of government.
