Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) issued an order this week to deploy more than 100 National Guardsmen to hospitals across the state in order to aid hospital staff amid a surge of coronavirus infections that have caused emergency rooms to reach capacity.
“These guardsmen will assist our front-line health care workers as they provide quality medical care during the current increase in cases and hospitalizations, and I greatly appreciate General [Tom] Carden and his team for their willingness to answer the call again in our fight against COVID-19,” Kemp said, according to WSBTV.
“This Georgia National Guard mission is in addition to the 2,800 state-supported staff and 450 new beds brought online I announced last week, at a total state investment of $625 million through December of this year," he added. "I continue to urge all Georgians to talk to a medical professional about getting vaccinated."

I just had a 62 year old cousin die. She had underlying issues and had Covid. She passed away Sunday morning at home. Went to sleep and never woke up. Don’t know if Covid killed her or if Covid was the catalyst for other issues. And we never will. She’ll be listed as a Covid death.

I’ve been tracking Missouri for a month and open beds, regular and ICU, have remained steady with 15-20% being open.

Still fewer cases compared to Covid’s peak when we didn’t have a vaccine
On Jan 8 2021 GA had 13,296 cases.
On Feb 16 2021 GA had 246 deaths.
On Aug 24, 2021 GA had 9186 cases.
On Aug 24, 2021 GA had 46 deaths,
The numbers are down.
Why are they less able to handle COVID now?
They all seem so thrilled with the vaccines, but their situation seems somehow more dire than ever?

I heard on a news report on the radio this morning that there only about 80 million more people that they want to get vaccinated.
I just checked the CDC site and over 200 million Americans have had at least one dose.
If we have had a surge lately, the virus is bound to ground to a halt very very soon because there are only 80M potential (unvaccinated) targets for it which are less than 1/3 of the population. In other words, the communicability matrix is becoming rapidly more and more sparce. If this thing doesn’t die out soon, then everything we have been told about the “vaccines” stopping the spread was WRONG!

My uncle had a neighbor who died from COVID. My best friend’s wife is a nurse who has had co-workers die from it.
“Calling out the National Guard” from this fabricated headline of PROPAGANDA-— in the State of Georgia of 100 (or they fudge as “more than 100”) is NOTHING at all.
A state population of 10 million having hospitals in plenty does not have a “calling out of the National Guard” with 100 or so.
So ridiculous— so FReepers don’t go woo woo with this planted “story” as any kind of news with any shred of truth.
Note that they revert to the original “the cases are going up” crap being derived from “testing” which still includes the PCR method that the CDC is only dropping in December— 98% false positives would help make the “cases” go up for the “news”. How the plandemic was originally sold for lockdowns. People on the ground are visiting the ERs and the hospitals for the true census of beds.

I’ve seen at least one article that says since delta can be passed on by vaccinated individuals and Biden didn’t meet the vaccination rate needed, herd immunity will not be attainable in the USA.
Georgia needs to open treatment centers for people who have tested positive but are NOT hospitalized yet.
DeSantis opened centers all over the state for monoclonal antibody treatments. The same treatment Trump received when he caught COVID. It’s saves lives and keeps our hospitals open. And the treatment is free.

That’s stuff we never see for some reason. I’m 66 with seasonal asthma so I try to stay safe but everybody I know got better. One lady was in the hospital for less than a week with COVID pneumonia. They gave her an infusion of Regeneron and she went home in a couple of days. She said it took a while to get her energy back but she fully recovered as far as I know. Her husband tested positive and only had sinus infection symptoms. He said he didn’t have any problem with it. One sister, one brother, and one sister-in-law had it and did fine. All were back at work in less than 2 weeks. The neighbors two doors down, about 1/4 mile out here in the country, have the GI version.
I checked the other day and my County of 55,000 has had around 8000 positives and 108 deaths. App. 90 of those deaths were in nursing homes.
Why are the numbers in some states or communities so much different than others? I’m in a little community and County and it’s been business as usual. It’s hard for me to fathom that many deaths when we don’t see it.
Oh, and we can get Monoclonal Antibodies too. All the lady that took the infusion knew was when they said “we’re going to give you what President Trump got and fix you right up”. We can get that and Regeneron so she got whatever he got.
