The Fox News Channel is claiming a huge victory: its snarky, comedic and conservative host Greg Gutfeld is the new king of late-night television, joining the likes of Johnny Carson, Jay Leno and David Letterman, all of whom have held the title in the past.
And Fox News has the Nielsen data to back up its assertion.
For the first time in a full week (August 16-22), the show dubbed Gutfeld! scored a larger audience than Jimmy Fallon on NBC, Jimmy Kimmel on ABC and Stephen Colbert on CBS.
It's not an exact apples-to-apples comparison, as Gutfeld! airs at 11 p.m. Eastern while the others begin at 11:30 p.m. or 11:35 p.m. On the West Coast, Gutfeld has the advantage of airing at 8 p.m. Despite the time differences, it's a significant milestone nonetheless since the others air on the free broadcast networks rather than cable…

Been watching this since it began a couple of months ago.
Greg’s opening monologue is almost as good as Tucker’s.
He deserves it, I miss him a lot.
I can’t tell Fallon or Kimmel apart. They look alike, and they are both unfunny leftist tw#ts.
Fox News’ right-wing Gutfeld! also attracted the most pairs of eyes in the sought-after 25-54 age demographic.
Greg probably worked years to sell this idea to management - they finally listened - now he’s golden …

I don’t think the night time audiences are as huge as they were before cable, podcasts and streaming.
It’s a whole different ball game now , compared to the Jay Leno and before days.
**True Confessions, Greg is whip smart, but his smug attitude often annoys me, and I can only take him in small doses. To each his own.
I enjoy them both every night.
He used to have Red Eye that came on at 3am. I always thought it was a waste of his talent because not many people saw it. I’m glad his show has moved to a better time slot. I wish Andy Levy was still with him.
The Alphabet comics aren’t funny anymore, they are just boring and rabid political operatives. I stopped watching after Leno. This can only increase Gutfeld’s popularity.
How far the networks have fallen. I would never have expected a cable news show to outperform the former show of Johnny Carson.

The reason you can't tell Fallon or Kimmel apart is because they are both androgynous, plump, bottom-boys. No muscle definition and they look like pudgy, little girls with dyke haircuts.
Kimmel is a beta male cuck and Fallon is a functioning alcoholic.

Do you know for sure the Fallon is an alcoholic? The few times I watched him I thought he was very talented but the show didn’t hold my interest. Gutfeld does keep me interested and he has an interesting mix of people with him.
Gutfield’s ok, but that little blond gal is a hoot and a half - she makes the show
I like him, though find his humor during this Afghan crisis nauseating.

Funny though, I was just telling someone the other day that the videos that Gutfeld shows from Campus Reform where they ask college students on campus about current events is a straight rip of the Jaywalking segments that Leno used to do. Those were hilarious.
