I agree w her as well. people dont need the government to protect them. We are many, they are few. Employees who walk rather than kneel will find instant employment elsewhere. The nation is littered w hiring signs. Just refuse.
Well, everyone is just reacting to being pushed around. Americans are not used to it. They are not asking to do something they are asking to stop something. We expected our Constitution to protect us and we have forgotten that it’s our responsibility to protect it. We’ll get there. The one thing I know is Americans are good and they are brave, just hard to anger.
She’s attractive yes but a FLAMING RINO!!
Crossed off list.
That’s three strikes for her.
1. The pro-transgender ruling.
2. Having a fund raiser for Boehner.
3. This
At one time she had a bright future with conservatives, but that is OVER.
How long till we see not taking the jab as grounds for divorce?
I wonder if the 30% of the people who still claim to support her will NOW figure out that she’s a TOTAL LOSER and you guys were duped by her looks (and even that is starting to get near its ‘best by’ date).
I would say they can’t act like an unelected government agent. But the do all the time so I guess I am w4ong.
“I can’t say I disagree with her. On principle I would almost universally defer to a business when it comes to managing its own affairs.”
I hope you don’t go too far with that ‘principle’, such as credit card companies and banks being allowed to drop licensed gun owners, and ALL credit card companies deciding to do just that (there are only a few to start with). Would suck to have to pay cash for everything, and if banks were able to do the same, you’d have to be paid in cash too.
So, it’s just as slippery in the other direction too, or more slippery.
If Dusty Johnson is having Boehner, he needs to be replaced.
“In 1955, yeah. But today, businesses openly trade with communist China. They push for every single principle of Marxism in America. They support BLM financially. They support Antifa.”
I can’t speak for 1955, but I know, FOR CERTAIN, that when big companies get a call from Uncle Sam today ‘requesting’ something (like mandatory shots) 99% of big businesses will do as told, as they know full-well what happens if they do not.
We need to pick a side - individual rights or government mandates. There is no longer a middle ground where corporations make decisions independent of what the Deep State tells them to do, that ended 20 or 30 years ago.
Imagine how much better this would be for everyone. The IRS would go to your employer and order them to pay you extra along with a sincere apology just to get the company back in their good graces.
Businesses don't vote (except with money). People vote. People have rights. Is it "We the People", or "We the Businesses"?
“Have FReepers noticed that Biden is asking the corporations to demand their workers be vaccinated???? It seems to me that Kristi Noem is following Biden’s recommendations here.”
As I said, the companies will DO AS TOLD by Biden, for they fully understand the hell that the feds can unleash on those that don’t comply (for example, when Microsoft was nearly broken up by Janet Reno because their political donations didn’t favor the Democrats strongly enough).
Mask mandates and vaccine passports are tyranny. They don’t achieve their stated aim. They do kill freedom to travel, discriminate and segregate.
“Imagine how much better this would be for everyone. The IRS would go to your employer and order them to pay you extra along with a sincere apology just to get the company back in their good graces. “
Very funny. I didn’t think you had a coherent response.
“Once people start telling women they can’t work at xyZ company if they’ve had an abortion they’ll understand.”
Or even how about women can’t work at xyz unless they are sterilized. This also forces a permanent irreversible medical decision on the employee they may not want.

It is absolutely insane at how well the vax is causing division in this country down to the family level.
Kristi is a Chamber of Commerce Republican first and a conservative when convenient. When the hard choices come calling she goes Bush/RINO/Chamber R.
