Airbnb is planning to start housing 20,000 Afghan refugees around the world free of charge, the company’s CEO, Brian Chesky, said Tuesday..."The displacement and resettlement of Afghan refugees in the U.S. and elsewhere is one of the biggest humanitarian crises of our time," said Chesky. "We feel a responsibility to step up."

um... airbnb doesn’t own properties.. they simply listed others properties for rent.

Who would want these creatures in their AirBNB? Let alone the neighbors or neighborhood.

So if you rent your place through Airbnb, you have no say as to whether subsidized Afghan refugees are placed in your home? People who will likely be impossible to evict when the subsides are discontinued?
