Haven’t missed a day of work since the pandemic started. I understand it might be difficult for people with young kids and no schools but at some point you need to go back to work

I missed two days in January/February of 2020 when I had it before it had a name. My wife and I survived it without doctor visits or drugs, and we are both in our sixties. Good thing we didn’t know how dangerous it was or we might have run to a hospital so they could hook us up to ventilators and kill us.

My wife and I think we may have had it for 10 days or so just prior to Thanksgiving 2020. No respiratory symptoms but just extreme fatigue. During the worst of it (maybe two days), we could sleep 18-20 hours a day or more. I work in a building virtually by myself, and I never missed a day, but only worked an hour or two a couple days, plus several 4-6 hour days.

Me either.

I have to show up and deal with the hapless, helpless, and hopeless.
