In tears, Rameen* said that his life has felt like a "nightmare" ever since Kabul fell to the Taliban on Sunday. "I just hope that somebody comes and wakes me up from this bad dream," the 37-year-old gay Afghan told Insider during a phone call.
Rameen, who works for the United Nations, once enjoyed Afghanistan's vibrant "underground" gay scene.
Even though homosexuality was illegal, he said he felt relatively safe making his weekly visit to a clandestine karaoke bar in Kabul to sing and dance with other members of the country's hidden LGBTQ communities. "It was fantastic and so much fun," Rameen recalled.
But in days, Rameen's life, like so many gay Afghans, has been turned upside down. He now lives in constant fear and is too afraid to meet up with his boyfriend of three years.
The Taliban is expected to implement a stringent interpretation of Sharia law, which means homosexuality would be punishable by death. In July, German newspaper Bild reported that a judge from the radical Islamist group vowed to sentence gay men to death by stoning or by being crushed by a nine-foot wall.

What a strange compulsion that a 37 year old man would risk a horrific death rather than indulge these inclinations.

I don’t see anything in the article about how many Taliban he shot when they took over Kabul.

I am surprised the homosexual community wasn’t evacuated first. The US Embassy has been promoting the life-style in Afghanistan and around the world.
They absolutely will NOT care a bit about execution of gays, rape of children, infants and women, the enslavement of anyone nor the murders that are going to start happening very soon.
TRUST ME. All they care about is keeping democrats in power no matter how evil and misguided and CRIMINAL they are.
so they’re expecting to be put in the front of the line? All they have to do is to promise to vote democrat and Joe will send his plane to give them a ride.
The people in power are just executing the competition.

Seriously, if a raving tranny tries to get into your bunker and says if you don’t you’re transphobic, what is your response? How about when the hormones they’ve been taking to sustain their delusion begin to wear off and the easily anticipated emotional/psychological instabilities begin to manifest in violent outbursts.
How much of remaining resources does one spend to enable this situation further?

I worked with a man who had been a US State Department employee during the helicopter evacuation of Saigon. This guy was a low intensity flamer. Meaning he didn’t say or do anything outrageous at work, but you could identify him as gay from a low flying plane.
Saigon is falling, helicopters are ferrying employees and evacuees from the rooftop and he’s on his way to the line. There are explosions and gunfire coming closer. Smoke is in the air. The embassy is mobbed. He looks through the fence as he hurries to the line as time is short at he has no idea when the last helicopter will be there and it could be this one...or, the next one, but, regardless a lot people are going to be left.
He sees a South Vietnamese colonel he knew waving at him from outside the fence. The colonel has two very small boys with him. He goes over to the fence and the colonel, is desperate...he was later executed...to get the boys on a chopper. He and a fellow employee agree to take the boys and they and the colonel climb the fence and lift the boys over and he carried one while the other employee carried the other.
He adopted and raised the boy who later became a doctor and married, having several children.
He cooled down the lifestyle while he raised the boy and only got a live-in companion after the boy had moved out. Many years later when he had a heart attack and the boy...now doctor...rushed back to be with him. The doctor was shocked to find he had a live-in “friend” who shared the same bed.
I am familiar with the homosexual agenda which is to convert every kid in the world to homosexuals. (Really, I’ve heard them talk about it as I used to attend parties at FSU. The faculty I met are not only gay but open about the “need” to convert the breeders to a more “sustainable” lifestyle.)
I asked the employee about that and he said, “You know, as a lifestyle, it sucks. *chuckle* I wouldn’t recommend it. (Okay, knock me over with a feather.)
Ok NOW they’ll get the democrat’s attention...
